(A) In addition to all other income tax imposed by Chapter 185, all income subject to taxation by the Municipality pursuant to this Chapter 185 or any other applicable law shall be taxed at the additional rate of one-quarter (1/4) of one percent (1%) per annum.
(B) The purpose of the additional one-quarter (1/4) of one percent (1%) income tax, effective January 1, 2021, imposed by this section is to provide funds to the Village of Edon to pay the costs of maintenance, improvement, upgrade, extension and/or replacement of streets, street lighting, or other capital improvements relating to the streets of the Village of Edon.
