1183.07 LOCATION OF PARKING SPACES.
   (a)   Short-Term Parking. The vehicle may be parked or stored for no longer than seventy-two (72) hours in an actual front or corner side yard for the purpose of loading and unloading.
   (b)   Long-Term Parking. The vehicle may be parked or stored for over seventy-two (72) hours only in the locations specified herein:
      (1)   Inside a structure, the vehicle shall be parked in a garage, carport, or covered parking space, where one exists on the premises large enough to accommodate the vehicle.
      (2)   In the rear or side yard, otherwise, the vehicle shall be parked in the driveway or a widening thereof with surfacing to permit appropriate drainage located in an actual rear or interior side yard behind the front building line and not less than five (5) feet from any lot line.
      (3)   Multifamily, otherwise, where the dwelling unit does not have its own driveway (as may be the case with multifamily units), the vehicle shall be parked in an off-street parking space on the premises outside of an actual front or side yard or in an off-street space off premises.
   (c)   The following regulations shall govern the location of off-street parking spaces and areas:
      (1)   All parking spaces required, herein, for all single and two-family residential uses shall be located on the same lot as the use which they are intended to serve.
      (2)   All parking spaces required herein for apartments, dormitories, or similar residential uses shall also be located on the same lot with the building and uses served.
