§ 35.12 LEAVE POLICY.
   (A)   Full time standard employees would accrue leave as follows:
      (1)   Anniversary date:
         (a)   First year anniversary, PTO earned, 40 hours;
         (b)   Second year anniversary, PTO earned, 80 hours;
         (c)   Seventh year anniversary, PTO earned, 120 hours;
         (d)   Fifteenth year anniversary, PTO earned, 160 hours;
         (e)   Twentieth year anniversary, PTO earned, 200 hours;
      (2)   January 1 each year: PTO earned, 80 hours.
      (3)   New full-time employees will earn PTO in six-hour increments for each month worked during the initial calendar year after completion of the probationary period. Time will accrue based on original hire date.
      (4)   Standard employees will be allowed to carryover unused PTO into a "bank." The "bank" amount shall not exceed 200 hours.
   (B)   Full time fire and EMS employees would accrue leave as follows:
      (1)   Anniversary date:
         (a)   First year anniversary, PTO earned, 72 hours;
         (b)   Second year anniversary, PTO earned, 144 hours;
         (c)   Seventh year anniversary, PTO earned, 216 hours;
         (d)   Fifteenth year anniversary PTO earned, 288 hours;
         (e)   Twentieth year anniversary PTO earned, 360 hours.
      (2)   January 1 each year: PTO earned, 144 hours.
      (3)   New full-time employees will earn PTO in 12-hour increments for each month worked for the initial calendar year after completion of probationary period. Time will accrue based on original hire date.
      (4)   Fire and EMS employees will be allowed to carry over unused PTO into a "bank." The "bank" amount shall not exceed 360 hours.
      (5)   For the purpose of this division of the policy, the following positions will be considered "standard employees": Fire Chief.
   (C)   Full time police employees would accrue leave as follows:
      (1)   Anniversary date:
         (a)   First year anniversary, vacation earned 60 hours;
         (b)   Second year anniversary, vacation earned 120 hours;
         (c)   Seventh year anniversary, vacation earned 180 hours;
         (d)   Fifteenth year anniversary, vacation earned 240 hours;
         (e)   Twentieth year anniversary, vacation earned 300 hours.
      (2)   January 1 each year: PTO earned, 120 hours.
      (3)   New full-time employees will earn PTO in 12-hour increments for each month worked for the initial calendar year after completion of probationary period. Time will accrue based on original hire date.
      (4)   Police employees will be allowed to carry over unused PTO into a "bank." The "bank" amount shall not exceed 300 hours.
      (5)   For the purpose of this division of the policy, the following positions will be considered "Standard Employees":
         (a)   Town Marshall;
         (b)   Assistant Town Marshall;
         (c)   School Resource Officer;
         (d)   Police Secretary.
