§ 102.05 DUTY OF PROPERTY OWNER, MANAGER OR AGENT.

At every change of tenant in every rental dwelling unit or mobile home rental, smoke detectors shall be tested to see that they are in operable condition. Every owner, manager or agent of any rental dwelling unit or mobile home rental shall be responsible for the installation and replacement of defective smoke detectors at any time. This requirement applies to smoke detectors required by any state or federal law as well as those required by this section.
