§ 98.01  DEFINITIONS.
   (A)   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      “PLAINLY AUDIBLE.
         (a)   Any sound that clearly can be heard by unimpaired auditory senses, including bass reverberation, at a distance of 50 feet or more from the source if on public property, and 50 feet or more from the property line if on private property. Words or phrases from a sound need not be discernible for a violation to occur.
         (b)   A sound or noise is also “PLAINLY AUDIBLE” if it emanates from inside a building or structure utilized as multiple residences, and can be clearly heard by a person, using his or her normal hearing, through the partitions separating the dwelling units (i.e., apartments).
