§ 130.03 REQUIRED PHYSICIAN REPORTS TO OFFICERS.

   (A)   Definitions. As used in this section:

      (1)   “PHYSICIAN.” Any person licensed to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

      (2)   “DANGEROUS INSTRUMENT” and “DEADLY WEAPON.” Have the meanings provided for them in KRS 500.080(3) and (4), respectively.

   (B)   Required reports. Every physician who provides or is requested to provide medical treatment in the city to a physical wound caused by a dangerous instrument or a dangerous weapon shall report that medical treatment or request to an officer of the Edgewood police department within one hour after that treatment or request.
