(a) Passenger Car Parking. Passenger cars may park twenty-four hours without charge on the nonmetered Municipal parking lots, but in the event any passenger car remains on the above property longer than twenty-four hours, the municipality may charge fifty cents (50¢) per day, per car. (b) Truck Parking. Truck parking is not permitted on any Village street or alley for a period exceeding four hours. Truck parking in the Municipal Lot is allowed by permit only. Such parking may not exceed 72 hours. Permits may be obtained at the Village Offices for such fees and upon such conditions as may from time to time be established by the Edgerton Village Administrator. Parked trucks may not have their engines running.
There shall be no trailer dropping on any Village street or alley.
(c) Violations of subsection (b) hereof shall be punishable by a fine of fifty dollars ($50.00). Every day of violation shall be considered a separate offense. Additionally, the Village may have any offending vehicle impounded at owner’s expense of both towing and storage charges.
