The Village of Edgerton hereby establishes an inspection program for low-speed, underspeed, or utility vehicle, or a mini-truck. The Chief of Police shall be responsible for operating the inspection program. If the Chief of Police or the Chief’s designee determines that the low-speed, under-speed, or utility vehicle, or a mini-truck complies with the minimum State of Ohio equipment requirements, then the Chief or the Chief’s designee shall issue the owner a certificate of compliance entitling the owner to secure a registration.
