133.05 NONSUFFICIENT FUND FEES.

(a) The Village Fiscal Officer is authorized to impose a charge for checks received by the Village for any reason that are returned because of nonsufficient funds (NSF).

(b) The NSF fee shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per returned check.

(c) The NSF fees established by this section shall supersede any NSF fees previously established by the Village, either by Council or otherwise.
