(a) It shall be lawful for officials and appointees of the Village to serve as members of the Edgerton Volunteer Fire Department, and they shall be compensated for like services at the same rate as others who are not officials and/or appointees of the Village.
(b) It shall be lawful for officials and appointees of the Village to serve as members of the Edgerton Emergency Medical Services Unit and they shall be compensated for like services at the same rate as others who are not officials and/or appointees of the Village.
(c) Any payments made to officials and/or appointees of the Village for services performed with the Edgerton Volunteer Fire Department and/or the Edgerton Emergency Medical Services Unit on and after January 1, 1987 are hereby authorized and ratified.
