§ 32.09  LOSS OF MEMBERSHIP.
   To be in and remain in good standing in the Fire Department, each officer or member shall not be absent from three consecutive meetings, unless such absence is excused by the Chief. The failure to so attend shall be deemed sufficient cause for removal of the member from the Fire Department. Members shall continue as members during periods of good behavior, and may be removed by the City Council only for cause after a public hearing, however, the Chief shall have authority to suspend a member pending such public hearing. A member shall receive no pay while suspended.
