§ 130.01  DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS.
   (A)   Unlawful to aim or discharge firearms. It shall be unlawful for any person to aim any gun, pistol, revolver, or other firearm, whether it is loaded or not, at or toward any human being, or to willfully discharge any firearm, air gun, BB gun, or any other weapon or throw any deadly weapon in any public place where there is any person to be endangered, although no injury results.

   (B)   Permits. It shall be unlawful to discharge any firearm within the city, except that the Chief of Police of the city may issue special permits for specified times to residents to use firearms to control animal pests when no better means is available.

   (C)   Exemptions. Nothing in this section shall be construed to embrace the firing of any gun, pistol, or other firearm when done in the lawful defense of person, family, or property or in the necessary enforcement of law.
