The Accident Investigation Committee shall be composed of six members and two alternate members all of whom shall be appointed by the City Council. One member shall be a member of the City Council, two members and the two alternates shall be non-supervisory city employees, one member shall be recommended by the City Manager, one shall be a citizen of the city not employed by the city and one member shall be a police officer.
