It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to construct, alter, or add to any structure within the city without complying with the requirements set forth in this chapter. Such violation, upon conviction thereof, shall be an infraction and punishable by a fine, as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code, plus the necessary permit fees. (2015 Code; amd.
