A. Age And Hour Restrictions:
1. It shall be unlawful for any child under the age of twelve (12) years to be upon the streets or alleys of the city unless accompanied by an adult, after the hour of eight o'clock (8:00) P.M. on weeknights and Sundays, or after the hour of ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. on Friday and Saturday nights.
2. It shall be unlawful for children twelve (12) years of age or more, but under eighteen (18) years of age, to be upon the streets or alleys of the city unless accompanied by an adult after ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. on weeknights and Sundays, and after twelve o'clock (12:00) midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.
B. Parental Responsibility: It shall be the responsibility of all parents, guardians or persons in custody of children, referred to in subsection A of this section, for compliance of such children with the provisions of said subsection. Violation by any child of the provisions of said subsection shall be prima facie evidence of neglect of duty by such parent, guardian of person in custody, and shall subject such person, in addition to any corrective action taken with respect to such children, to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
