3-3-1: DEFINITIONS:
For the purpose of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them:
ABANDONED, WRECKED AND JUNKED:
With reference to motor vehicles, any motor vehicle which meets any one of the following qualifications:
A. The motor vehicle does not carry a current, valid state registration and/or license plate;
B. The motor vehicle cannot be safely operated under its own power.
BUILDING:
An enclosed structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering a use or occupancy, consisting of, at a minimum, constructed floor, walls, and roof.
MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT:
Any article of industrial, commercial, agricultural or domestic machinery or equipment composed of metal, plastic, or other material.
MAJOR HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES AND FURNISHINGS:
Any large item commonly used to furnish or equip a domestic household or commercial business including, but not limited to, chairs, tables, sofas, beds, refrigerators, stoves, washers, freezers, dryers, furnaces, television sets, stereo systems, air conditioning units, or other similar articles.
MOTOR VEHICLE:
Shall be defined as now defined in Idaho Code section 49-123(g) as it now exists or as it may hereafter be amended.
PERSON:
Any individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, limited partnership, trust, estate, or other legal entity. (Ord. 3-2009, 5-11-2009; amd. Ord. 2-2017, 7-10-2017)
