3-2-1: DEFINITIONS:
For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:
GARBAGE: Kitchen and table refuse, waste meat, swill, waste fruit or vegetable matter, waste fish or fowl.
REFUSE: Ashes, broken crockery, broken bottles, broken bricks, tin vessel; lawn, hedge, shrubbery or tree trimmings; pasteboard boxes, paper sacks, straw, sawdust, packing materials, shavings, discarded stoves; furniture or building materials; uprooted trees, severed tree limbs and trunks; and discarded, junked or abandoned automobiles, except such as are accumulated in connection with an authorized wrecking business approved by the city council, and operating under a valid state store license.
