9-3-9: PARKING IN ALLEYS:
No person shall park a vehicle within an alley in such a manner or under such conditions as to leave available less than ten feet (10') of the width of the roadway for the free movement of vehicular traffic, and no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle within an alley in such a position as to block the driveway entrance to any abutting property. (1962 Code § 18.509)
No person shall park a vehicle within a marked private parking area without a visible sticker issued by the owner pursuant to 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11-209.1. The following locations are hereby designated private parking areas:
The north thirty feet (30') from the north edge of the first alley north of 15th Avenue between 2nd Street and 3rd Street. (Ord. 77-3, 2-7-1977)
In the alley north of 15th Avenue and south of the railroad tracks, from 1st Street to 6th Street. (Ord. 79-61, 9-17-1979)
