Whenever the weight of vehicles permitted on a street is limited by ordinance and signs indicating such limitations are posted, it shall be unlawful to operate a vehicle in excess of such weight on such street, except for the purpose of making delivery or picking up a load, in which case such vehicle may be driven on such street for not more than the minimum distance necessary for the purpose. It shall be unlawful to operate a vehicle weighing in excess of ten thousand (10,000) pounds on 9th Avenue from 19th Street East to the alley east of 21st Street, and on 1st Street from 17th Avenue continuing south a distance of one thousand feet (1,000'), and on 3X Avenue from 19th Street East to 25th Street. It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle carrying and/or hauling a load weighing in excess of six thousand (6,000) pounds over or upon 1st Street from 18th Avenue, continuing south a distance of one thousand feet (1,000'). (Ord. 64-21, 5-18-1964)
It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle carrying and/or hauling a load weighing in excess of five thousand (5,000) pounds over or upon the alley between 16th and 17th Avenues from 6th Street to 7th Street. (Ord. 79-44, 7-2-1979)
It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle carrying and/or hauling a load weighing in excess of six thousand (6,000) pounds over or upon 14th Avenue from 17th Street to 19th Street. (Ord. 79-30, 6-4-1979)
It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle carrying and/or hauling a load weighing in excess of six thousand (6,000) pounds over or upon 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th Avenues from 13th to 19th Streets. (Ord. 01-34, 11-5-2001)
It shall be unlawful to operate a vehicle with licensed weight in excess of twelve thousand (12,000) pounds over and upon 7th Street from 17th Avenue to 41st Avenue. (Ord. 80-42, 10-20-1980)
It shall be unlawful to operate a vehicle with licensed weight in excess of twelve thousand (12,000) pounds over and upon 17th Street from 13th Avenue to 18th Avenue. (Ord. 83-35, 12-5-1983)
