It shall be unlawful to construct or build, any driveway for vehicles over, across, or upon any public right of way, curb, or sidewalk or that enters or connects with any public street without first having obtained a separate driveway permit from the Engineering Department (Building Inspections Department for new building construction). Failure to obtain a permit prior to commencement of the work shall result in a stop work order until the proper permit is obtained. (Ord. 95-11, 4-3-1995)
