7-13-12: SANITARY FACILITIES:
   (A)   Enough potable water under pressure, and at the right temperature shall be provided to all fixtures and equipment that use water.
   (B)   The potable water system shall be installed so as to preclude the possibility of backflow.
   (C)   All water-carried sewage shall be disposed of by means of a Municipal sewage system, or a private sewage system or a private sewage disposal system.
   (D)   All plumbing shall be sized, installed and maintained in accordance with applicable provisions of the plumbing code.
   (E)   At least one toilet and no fewer than the number of toilets required by the plumbing code shall be provided, and shall be accessible to the public clientele.
   (F)   Toilet rooms shall be completely enclosed and shall have tight fitting, self-closing doors.
   (G)   Toilet rooms shall be mechanically and effectively ventilated to the outside atmosphere.
   (H)   Toilet rooms shall be kept clean, in good repair and free of objectionable odors. A supply of toilet tissue shall be provided at each toilet at all times. Easily cleanable, covered receptacles shall be provided for waste materials.
   (I)   Lavatories shall be located in, or immediately adjacent to toilet rooms.
   (J)   Lavatories shall be located in the immediate vicinity, and easily accessible to the tattooing artist while providing tattooing to a client.
   (K)   Each lavatory shall be provided with hot and cold water tempered by means of a mixing valve or combination-faucet.
   (L)   A supply of hand-cleansing soap or detergent shall be available at each lavatory. A supply of sanitary towels or a hand-drying device providing heated air shall be conveniently located near each lavatory. Common towels shall be prohibited. If disposable towels are used, easily cleanable waste receptacles shall be conveniently located.
   (M)   Lavatories, soap dispensers, hand drying devices and all related fixtures shall be kept clean and in good repair.
   (N)   All garbage and refuse generated indoors shall be disposed of in durable, easily cleanable containers. Plastic bags shall line all containers.
   (O)   All garbage and refuse stored outdoors shall be stored in an approved garbage dumpster. Approved garbage dumpsters shall be placed on a concrete or asphalt surface, and shall be easily accessible to garbage collection crews. (Ord. 95-1, 2-6-1995)
