7-13-8: PERSONNEL:
   (A)   No employee, while infected with a disease in a communicable form, or who is a carrier of a disease; and no employee while affected with a boil, infected wound or acute respiratory infection shall provide tattooing to a client.
   (B)   No employee shall provide tattooing to any skin surface that shows evidence of any rash, boils, infections or other unhealthy conditions or disease.
   (C)   Employees shall thoroughly wash their hands and the exposed portions of their arms with soap and warm water before starting work, during work as often as is necessary to keep them clean, and after smoking, eating, drinking or using the toilet. Employees shall keep their fingernails clean and trimmed.
   (D)   Employees providing tattooing shall, in addition to thoroughly washing, shall use single-use latex or vinyl examination gloves, as a barrier to potentially infective blood.
   (E)   Employees shall not use tobacco in any form, or eat or drink while tattooing a client.
   (F)   No employee shall provide tattooing without first obtaining a tattooing artist permit. (Ord. 95-1, 2-6-1995)
