(A) Infectious waste generators which do not utilize facilities to render waste innocuous shall:
1. Contract with a special waste hauler permitted by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency to dispose of all infectious waste materials or;
2. Personally transport infectious waste to an approved infectious waste treatment or storage facility, provided that all infectious waste is properly contained, and identified while in transport; and provided that such infectious waste treatment or storage facility notifies the Health Officer in writing of such agreement with individual infectious waste generator.
