7-2-10: FOODS FROM OUTSIDE JURISDICTION:
Food from establishments outside the jurisdiction of East Moline may be sold in the city if such food establishments conform to the provisions of this ordinance or to substantially equivalent provisions. To determine the extent of compliance with such provisions, the health officer may accept reports from responsible authorities and other jurisdictions where such food establishments are located. Facilities must have valid permits in their base jurisdiction and operating within the confines of normal operations. If previous reports cite and/or notate violations or concerns of a repetitive nature, they must be in compliance prior to approval or they may be denied the privilege of operating in East Moline.
