6-3-41: RESISTING OR OBSTRUCTING A PEACE OFFICER:
   (A)   Offense Of Resisting Or Obstructing A Peace Officer: It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly resist or obstruct the performance by one known to that person to be a peace officer of any authorized act within the officer's official capacity.
   (B)   Penalty: A person convicted of the offense of resisting or obstructing a peace officer shall be fined in a sum not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00). (Ord. 83-4, 1-17-1983)
