A tax is hereby imposed for the purpose of fire protection in this city of five hundred ten thousand dollars ($510,000.00) at a rate of 0.1999% of the value, as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue of all taxable property therein for the first year in which this tax is levied, with a maximum rate of 0.2000 percent of the value as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue, as approved by ordinance 02-17, for all the provisions of Chapter 65, Section 5/11-7-3 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes.
