5-1-8: FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT:

It shall be the duty of the fire department and its members to develop, implement and enforce programs designed to protect the lives and property of the citizens of the city of East Moline from the adverse effects of fire, medical emergencies and hazardous conditions. (Ord. 98-20, 5-4-1998)
