It shall be unlawful to install electrical wiring and to connect electrical fixtures, apparatus, or appliances for furnishing light, heat, or power without having secured a permit from the building inspector.
Any person, firm or corporation desiring to engage in the business of electrical contracting in the City of East Moline shall file with the City Clerk a compliance bond, with the form thereof to be furnished by the building inspector, in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00), conditioned upon the faithful performance of all the provisions of the National Electrical Code, as most recently adopted.
