(A) The position of a "housing inspector" is hereby created, together with such staff that shall be necessary to enforce the provisions of this code and the enforcing officer shall be classified as the "housing inspector" of the city.
(B) This office shall be directly responsible to the city engineer and the housing and advisory appeal board of said city for the duties as defined in this code by the housing and advisory appeal board and the housing inspector's service shall be terminated after just cause is shown as determined by his supervisors aforementioned.
(C) All permits or certificates issued pursuant to inspections of this office shall be signed and approved by the housing inspector, building inspector, electrical inspector, heating and air conditioning inspector, health inspector, and the fire chief or his agent, certifying that the premises meet the requirements of this code.
