(A) Definitions: For purposes of this section, the following words shall having the meanings set forth below unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
AUTOMOBILE RACE: | An amusement event whereby automobiles or other motor vehicles are driven competitively against each other or against time. |
PERSON: | Any individual, partnership, corporation, or other association or entity, trustee or legal representative. |
PROPRIETOR: | Any person operating an automobile race. |
(B) Prohibition: No proprietor shall conduct or operate an automobile race within the City of East Moline after 10:15 P.M.
(C) Penalty: Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be subject to a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and not more than seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00). Said violation shall be deemed a misdemeanor. (Ord. 19-10, 3-4-2019)
