The purpose of this chapter is to provide a fair and efficient method of determining the eligibility of an employee for the benefits enumerated under the Public Safety Employee Benefits Act (820 ILCS 320/1 et seq.) through the process of an administrative hearing. All benefits provided employees pursuant to the Public Safety Employees Benefits Act will be consistent with the Act. (Ord. 18-19, 11-19-2018)
