§ 95.27 TESTING OF TANKS.
   (A)   Every existing underground liquid storage system over 1,000 gallons which does not conform on the effective date of this subchapter must be tested for failure, using the final test in the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) #329 or other test of equivalent or superior accuracy as approved by the official and in accordance with the following schedule:

Every 2 years
 
   (B)   Such testing must be performed by a qualified professional testing service doing business in the state and the test results must be presented to the Building Official in a signed and notarized report before December 31 of the year indicated in the schedule.
      (1)   Fiberglass tanks shall be tested ten years after registration and vaulted tank tests are to be waived at the discretion of the Building Official.
      (2)   If failure is detected, that part of the system which failed must be pumped out immediately and cannot be reused until the system is repaired or replaced as provided for in this subchapter. Recovery of the hazardous substance shall proceed in accordance with the law.
