(A) Any person owning a liquid storage system must register with the Building Official by providing a site plan of the property and a complete description of the system, including the location, number, size, composition, type of liquid being stored and date of original installation of tanks and transmission pipes. Such registry must be done within one year from the effective date of this subchapter on forms prescribed by the Building Official.
(B) Liquid storage systems installed in a building basement in accordance with existing codes are exempted from this subchapter.
