353.20  DUTY OF CONTROL ATTENDANTS; NOTICE.
   (a)   It shall be the duty of parking control attendants of the City, acting in accordance with the instructions issued by the Director of Public Service-Safety, to report:
      (1)   The number of each parking meter which indicates that the vehicle occupying the parking space adjacent to such parking meter is or has been, parked in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or the vehicle is or has been parked in violation of the following sections of Chapter 351 of the Codified Ordinances:  351.02, 351.03,351.04, 351.05, 351.07, 351.10, 351.11 and 351.99.
      (2)   The date and hour of such violation;
      (3)   The state license number of such vehicle;
      (4)   Any other facts and knowledge which are necessary to a thorough understanding of the circumstances attending the parking of such vehicle.
   (b)   Parking control attendants shall attach to any illegaly parked vehicle a notice to the owner or operator that such vehicle has been parked in violation of the provisions of this chapter, instructing such owner or operator to report to the Department of Public Service-Safety in regard to such violation.
   (c)   The parking control attendants of the City are required to wear uniforms designed by the Director of Public Service Safety and monies to purchase the uniforms shall be paid from the General Fund.  (Ord. 6, 1988.  Passed 3-7-88; Ord. 55, 2004.  Passed 9-7-04.)
