(a) Generally. When a vehicle is parked in a space adjacent to a parking meter, during any period in which the provisions of this chapter are in effect, the operator of such vehicle shall immediately deposit or cause to be deposited in the parking meter controlling such space, a coin of the United States of America.
(b) The time limits and rates will be as posted.
