(a) The City hereby designates permit parking upon the Sixth Street Lots as follows:
(1) Sixth Streets lots designated Lots “T” and “G”.
(b) Any owner, operator or employer may purchase up to fifteen (15) monthly parking permits and use them to park in any available parking space in the designated areas set forth in subsection (a) hereof.
(c) The Service Safety Director shall allocate no more than forty (40) permits to Lot “T” and Lot “G”.
(d) A parking permit holder shall not be subject to the time restriction designated by any sign located in the designated area set forth in subsection (a) hereof.
(e) The permit parking designated area set forth in subsection (a) hereof is nonexclusive and owners or operators of vehicles who are non-permit holders shall be permitted to park in the designated permit parking area set forth in subsection (a) hereof subject to the time limitation marked by any sign. A parking permit does not guarantee a parking space and the City assumes no risk with regard to the permit holder’s vehicle.
(f) The parking permit fee shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00) per month and shall be issued by the Mayor’s Office. Permits may be purchased three (3) days prior to the beginning of the applicable month.
(g) A parking permit shall be registered to a specific motor vehicle and correspond to that license plate number and the permit applicant shall supply the vehicle license plate number. The owner or operator of that motor vehicle shall display the parking permit on the dash of the vehicle.
(h) Unless otherwise provided herein, the designed permit parking area set forth in subsection (a) hereof shall be subject to all parking ordinances, rules and regulations of the City.
