(a) The City Bureau shall initiate, promote and support events that will develop cultural interest and tourist attractions in the City and surrounding areas. The Commission may, in carrying out these duties, enter into joint ventures and/or partnerships with private tourist promoting organizations or other convention and tourism bureaus.
(b) The City Bureau shall create a competitive process for distribution of funds received by the City pursuant to Ohio R.C. 5739.09 and earmarked for private tourism promoting organizations or other convention and visitors bureaus operating within Columbiana County; and shall regulate the distribution of said funds to maximize its fullest promotional potential while minimizing overhead/administrative costs.
(c) The City Bureau shall also have the authority to adopt rules and regulations for its operation.
