167.02 APPROVAL OF CONTRACTS.

No contract in the Department of Public Service-Safety, in excess of the amount specified in Ohio R.C. 733.22 shall be awarded except on the approval of the Board of Control, which Board shall direct the Director of the Department of Public Service-Safety to enter into the contract. The members of the Board shall prepare estimates of the revenue and expenditures of the Department to be submitted to Council by the Mayor, as provided by law.
