146.03  DUTIES.
   The Juvenile Police Officer shall perform among others the following duties:
   (a)   Apprehension of offenders.
   (b)   Interview of juveniles taken into custody and of the parents or guardians of these juveniles.
   (c)   Investigation of offenses or alleged  offenses involving juveniles.
   (d)   Police disposition through clearance and/or referral of juveniles to agencies or to juvenile court.
   (e)   Preventive surveillance of juvenile gathering places.
   (f)   Development of working relationships and programs with schools and community agencies.
   (g)   Police Department representation in community planning and public relations in regard to children and youth.
