1343.01  VACATION AND DEMOLITION.
   If the owner, occupant, mortgagee or lessee fails to comply with the order of the Housing Inspector provided for in Chapter 1337 or the action of the Board of Housing Appeals after hearing, the Housing Inspector shall cause such dwelling or part thereof to be vacated and repaired or demolished as the facts may warrant and shall, with the assistance of the Law Director, cause the costs of such repair or demolition to be certified to the Columbiana County Auditor with a proper description of the premises and a request that such amount be entered upon the tax duplicate and made a lien upon such lands to be collected as other taxes and returned to the Municipality according to law.  Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit the City from recovering the costs of such repair or demolition in a suit at law against the owner, if so desired.
