144.02  APPOINTMENT; DUTIES.
   There is hereby created the position of Downtown Coordinator for the City, who shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall perform duties which are related to improving the economic climate of the downtown area, and shall include, but not be limited to:  interfacing with local merchants and shopkeepers, assisting in the development of a downtown redeveloping plan, assisting in the preparation of a package to assist new business in the downtown area, recruitment of new businesses into the downtown area and other duties which may be conferred by the Mayor or his designee.
