141.01 MERGER OF DEPARTMENTS.

Pursuant to the authority vested in Council by Ohio R.C. 733.03, the Department of Public Service and the Department of Public Safety are hereby merged into one department to be known and designated as the Department of Public Service-Safety. The office of Director of Public Service and the office of Director of Public Safety are likewise merged into one office, which shall be in the charge of an officer known as the Director of Public Service-Safety. The Department of Public Service-Safety shall be administered by the Director of Public Service- Safety.
