The owner or driver of any taxicab shall deliver a receipt to the person paying for the hire of such vehicle if such person shall demand it. Such receipt shall be delivered at the time of the payment of the fare and shall show the point at which such person was accepted as a passenger and the place where he was discharged. (Ord. 72, 1998.
