For any license required by the provisions of this chapter, the fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for one such billiard or pool table, and ten dollars ($10.00) for one bowling or pin and ball alley, shall be required. The further sum of five dollars ($5.00) shall be required for each additional billiard or pool table and five dollars ($5.00) for each additional bowling or pin and ball alley. The fee shall be paid in advance at the time such license is issued.
All such licenses shall expire on December 31 of each year.
If any license is granted for a period of less than twelve months, the license fee shall be prorated accordingly.
If any license fee is wrongfully and unlawfully required or exacted and paid hereunder, it may be recovered by the person paying it.
