No person, being the owner, licensee, keeper or having charge of any bowling alley within the City shall keep the same in use and operation between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on Monday to Saturday both inclusive, and between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, except that the owner, licensee, keeper or employee may lawfully clean, wax, polish or otherwise repair such alleys immediately after closing time. However, the extension of time after midnight shall not be construed to be an exemption to Chapter 509 prohibiting loud and unnecessary noises.
