Not later than the fifth day of January, April, July and October of each year, every owner or distributor shall furnish the Mayor with a list of all new contracts for the sale, leasing or renting of one or more mechanical or electrically operated amusement device or music device entered into during the preceding quarter with persons residing or doing business in the City, giving the names and addresses of such persons, the dates of the contracts and the identifying number of the maker of such machines, if there is any. The Mayor shall file such reports and maintain them for the inspection of the police for a period of not less than one year.
