The actions of the Emergency Management Department under this chapter shall be subject to the provisions of the state's Emergency Management Act (M.C.L.A. § 30.401 et seq.). In all instances where there is a conflict between the provisions of this chapter and the state's Emergency Management Act, the provisions of the Emergency Management Act shall supersede the provisions of this chapter. The Director of Emergency Management under this chapter shall serve as the local coordinator under the Emergency Management Act.
