§ 1.214 EMERGENCY PURCHASES.
   For purchases wherein City Commission approval is otherwise required, any department head, with the approval of the Manager, may purchase directly any supplies, materials, equipment, or services, the immediate procurement of which is necessary to the continuation of the work of the department. Such purchases and the emergency causing them shall be reported in detail to the City Commission at its next meeting and such reports shall be preserved by the purchasing agent for a period of two years.
