The operator of any watercraft involved in an accident resulting in damage to property in an amount less than $50 shall stop his or her watercraft and give his or her name and address and the registration number of the watercraft, and also the name and address of the owner, to the operator or occupants of any other watercraft involved or to the owner or his or her agents of any property damaged by such accident, where available.
