(A) Pursuant to the provisions of the Home Rule Cities Act, Public Act 279 of 1909, as amended, M.C.L.A. §§ 117.1 et seq., the Michigan Vehicle Code, Public Act 300 of 1949, as amended, being M.C.L.A. §§ 257.1 et seq., is adopted by reference, as if fully set forth herein.
(B) The city further adopts by reference § 625(l)(c) of the state’s Vehicle Code, pursuant to authority under M.C.L.A. §§ 117.3(k) and 117.4i. A violation of § 625(l)(c) of the state’s Vehicle Code is punishable by one or more of the following:
(1) Community service for not more than 360 hours;
(2) Imprisonment for not more than 180 days; and
(3) A fine of not less than $200 or more than $700.
